Caversham Road, Reading

The site was purchased unconditionally in April 2020 and a planning application was submitted in September 2020 and was subsequently approved at Committee unanimously in December 2020 within 8 weeks of submission.

The site was then subsequently sold to Abri Group who intend to deliver the scheme out for 40 affordable homes in the next 2 years.

Swansea Road, Reading

Elstree purchased this derelict former MOT garage and obtained a detailed planning permission for 9 x 3 bed houses within 3 months of completion. The design and approach was commended and unanimously approved at Planning Committee and was subsequently sold to Sovereign Housing Association in March 2020.

Aldermaston Road, Tadley

This 0.2 acre site adjacent to the Barclays Bank on Aldermaston Road benefited from an extant planning consent for a 945sqm office. An application was submitted for 17 flats which was approved and the site successfully sold in October 2019.

The site was located within the Aldermaston AWE ‘Blast Zone’ and our development has been the only private scheme to be granted planning by Basingstoke and Deane in the past 12 years. This application took nearly 12 months to secure following extensive work with Aldermaston AWE, West Berkshire Emergency Planning Department and Hampshire County Council.

Waingels Road, Charvil

This project was for a high end, substantial single dwelling located in the countryside which was won at Appeal. The former undeveloped paddock is now home to a 3,500sq.ft 5 bed detached house with a triple garage on an affluent and attractive road in Charvil.

Reading Road, Winnersh

Through consultation and pre application work with Wokingham Borough Council the site has now been awarded a draft allocation in the forthcoming Local Plan for a substantial new residential development for circa 100 units.

Through a promotional agreement with the landowners, Elstree has used their expertise to secure the residential allocation within 9 months, before moving forward with a planning application upon adoption.

Jubilee Hall, Charvil

This site was purchased for a high net worth investor unconditionally in a joint venture arrangement. Despite the sensitive nature of the redevelopment, through active discussions with local stakeholders and ongoing community involvement, a Planning Permission for 5 x 3 and 4 bedroom houses was secured under delegated powers from Wokingham Borough Council.

The site was later remarketed and sold in September 2019.
